COVID-19 - Update Center
To our Lindenwold Families,
As we approach March we are keenly aware of the fact that this brings us to a full year of non-traditional “school” for our staff, students and families. We miss our students tremendously, but also believe our decision to remain 100% remote has kept our staff and community as safe as possible. We are inspired by the recent reduction in COVID cases. This reduction in cases is created by various forces such as vaccinations, continued mask wearing and social distancing. We remain hopeful that this trend will continue to finally allow us to bring our students back to our buildings safely.
Our proposed hybrid re-opening date for grades kindergarten through 12th will be Monday, April 12th. We are hopeful that we will be able to open our doors for a hybrid schedule, at that time, pending the continued improvement in COVID indicators. We will be reaching out at the building level to assess your student(s)' choice to attend either in-person or remote instruction status. All parents/guardians must confirm or change this status by the latest date of March 12th. Those that do not respond to us, will be kept as their current status. After March 12th no further in-person choices will be accepted through the end of the school year. Additional information will be available as we approach our proposed re-opening.
We have not yet set a date for our littlest learners in our preschool program to begin school in person. We will continue to consider and provide an update as soon as possible.
We thank you as always for your continued patience and partnership and look forward to the promise of Spring.
