Congratulations: Jomonni Johnson-Cook, Tazir Cantey, Ivian Martinez Jomonni Johnson-Cook is a 10th grade student who was born on January 29, 2002.  Her favorite subjects in school are History and Chemistry.  She enjoys learning about the past in History, and she enjoys Chemistry because it pertains to what she wants to do in her future.  Jomonni would like to become a Doctor one day. She is unsure what type, but medicine is her passion. At LHS Jomonni participates in Cheerleading, Basketball, Track and Field, Drama Club, and is the Vice President of the Student Council.  In her spare time she enjoys staying busy, cheerleading, playing basketball, hanging out with friends, shopping, and social media. Jomonni is thankful for her friends and family, because they push her through everything and make her strive to be better.  

Tazir Cantey is a 9th grade student born on October 30, 2002.  His favorite subject in school is Math. He enjoys solving problems.  Tazir would like to attend college after high school to study Business with the hopes of becoming an Entrepreneur.  At LHS he participates in Cross-Country, Basketball, and Track and Field. In his spare time Tazir enjoys playing basketball and video games.  He is thankful for his family, because they do a lot for him. He is also thankful for the sport of basketball which he loves.

Ivian Martinez is a 12th grade student born on October 15, 1999.  Her favorite class this year is Honor’s Calculus because she is enjoying the challenge.  She also enjoys Ceramics and Anatomy. Ivian would like to become a Psychiatrist. She wants to help people and is very interested in the brain and how it functions.  At LHS Ivian participates in Tennis and Student Council. She was the Captain this year for singles. In her spare time Ivian enjoys reading, being outdoors, running, doodling, working, and volunteering at the food pantry.  She is thankful for having a chance to improve her grades. She is also thankful for her parents, because without them she wouldn’t have earned this honor.
